Mariam Danelia, a talented chess player from the country of Georgia, began playing chess at the age of five. She represented Georgia in various age groups at the European Youth Chess Championships and World Youth Chess Championships. Her notable achievements include winning two gold medals at the World Youth Chess Championship in the U12 girl’s age group (2006) and at the European Youth Chess Championship in the U16 girl’s age group (2010). She also won a silver medal at the European Youth Chess Championship in the U10 girl’s age group (2006).

In 2008, Mariam was awarded the FIDE Woman International Master (WIM) title. She won the Georgian Youth Chess Championship in the U16 girl’s age group in 2009 and secured a silver medal in the same category in 2010.
