TCC’s afterschool chess programs provide not just a great chess education, but a fun environment to bolster confidence, sharpen critical thinking, and nurture interpersonal skills with fellow players.

  • Our lectures help set your student up for success across the board, equipping them with the basic tactics and strategies to seize victory.

  • With a dedicated open play at the end of our lectures, students have the opportunity to practically apply their new concepts over-the-board.

  • At the end of the semester, students have an opportunity to play against each other in a fun tournament to mark a great year of learning! Trophies are awarded, and students are celebrated.
