Charles Osenbaugh

In September 2021, Charles began teaching chess at a local school, starting with just 8 students. By September 2022, his influence had expanded to five schools, reaching nearly 70 students. Since then, Charles has taught over 100 students across a variety of settings, including after-school programs, private tutoring, summer camps, and volunteer work with the Houston Public Library's chess camps.

In addition to teaching, Charles is actively involved in the chess community. He has organized and helped direct scholastic chess tournaments and local meetups, further fostering a love for the game in his community.
