During your 10-day trial for the Group Class Program, you can attend one in-person class weekly and one club night. Other features are restricted until payment has been made after the trial has ended. You may skip your trial upon request to access all features faster. After the trial, the selected plan activates, charges apply, and no refunds or extensions are given if the service is unused. Online classes are not available during the trial period.

Most students usually start at the INTRO or Pawn Level if they have a grasp of how to play, whereas those with previous chess education experience are eligible to begin at the Knight Level. Students may also commence at higher levels if they meet the US Chess Rating Requirements.

The payment will automatically renew each month on the same date as your initial payment. You can manage your membership via our Stripe portal, where you can cancel, modify, or pause your subscription.

We don’t charge any registration and or cancellation fees.

Each class lasts 1 hour, comprising a lecture, historical master games, and worksheet practice problems. About 40 minutes focus on learning, with the remainder for supervised open play. Hybrid classes provide flexible instruction, letting students attend in-person or online.

How does my child promote? Students are promoted based on their US Chess Rating, test performance, and/or coaches' recommendations.

What are Open Play Nights? Open play is a weekly event where players can gather and play chess. We provide all the necessary equipment!
