Student and Member Achievements

Texas Chess Center would like to extend their congratulations to Kaira Ganesh for winning gold for Team USA in the Under-11 Girls Blitz at the Youth Chess Championship in El Salvador. Kaira earned her victory by winning a wonderful 7 out of 9 rounds. From Kaira’s journey with us from classes with Coach Christopher Toolin at NTCA to representing the United States in El Salvador, her dedication to excellence is an inspiration not only to the students who learned alongside her, but also to her mentors who have watched her grow. We are so proud of Kaira!

We would also like to recognize Lohit Polisetti, a consistent challenger to our Weekly Swisses. Lohit’s persistence and brilliance does not go unrewarded; his hard work has recently earned him the title of National Master, having just surpassed 2200 as of June 2nd. We celebrate this achievement alongside Lohit, and we hope to continue watching him shine over the board!
