The Texas Chess Center is excited to partner with EA Young Academy to provide after-school chess for Spring 2026! The class will consist of 35-40 minutes of learning and then followed by 20-25 minutes of over-the-board competitive practice. Students will learn fundamental chess strategies and tactics, challenging their minds and giving them the confidence to succeed.
Dates & Times Tuesdays | 3:45PM-4:45PM 1/13 - 5/12 (17 sessions, no class 3/17)
Instruction Level Beginner: Tactics & Strategies. Students who already know how to play chess and how the pieces move will benefit the most from this course.
